Smart Transportation

Intelligent transportation is based on intelligent transportation (ITS) and fully utilizes technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, the Internet, artificial intelligence, automatic control, and mobile internet in the transportation field. Through high-tech collection of transportation information, it provides control and support for all aspects of transportation management, transportation, public travel, and the entire process of transportation construction management, enabling the transportation system to be regionally The city even has the ability of perception, interconnection, analysis, prediction and control in a larger space and time range to fully guarantee traffic safety, give play to the efficiency of transport infrastructure, improve the operation efficiency and management level of the traffic system, and serve the smooth public travel and sustainable economic development.

1. Urban transportation

Operators can access traffic lights at remote traffic control locations in the management center for real-time monitoring, timely response to emergency events, and capture illegal vehicles. The network connection is highly reliable, and tools such as VPN and firewall are required to protect network security and ensure complete system communication.

2. Expressway

Starting from 2020, expressways will implement segmented billing through ETC gantry. To ensure that all vehicles pay taxes in accordance with the law, sensors and camera systems will be installed on the roads to take photos of illegal vehicles and record license plates. This system can be used to calculate traffic flow and even identify vehicle types based on contour maps. Once a violation is detected, the system will send a photo of the license plate of the offending vehicle to the control room for subsequent processing and charging for the vehicle.

3. Rail transit

A. On board (train communication network, status monitoring system, passenger WIFI) modern trains are equipped with various rail transit systems, aiming to create a safe and enjoyable journey for passengers.

B. Trackside signals and telecommunications systems deployed along the track (trackside communication network, status monitoring system) require the use of large networks to collect data and transmit it back to the control center. Some systems also need to collect additional data on railway switches and intersections to ensure smooth daily operation.
